Competitions
Many curlers hear about competitions after they are
over!
Many curlers would like to play in a competition but do not
have a team!
Many curlers would play in a team but heve never been
asked!
Many curlers could play one game in a competition in one week
and thats all!
Are any of the above you?
Border Ice Rink Open Points Competition could be for
you!!
The points competition is sponsored by Michael Sutherland of
the Foulden Club and he invites all of you to come along tomorrow Thursday 21st
Feb at 2.30 pm and play in the "Open Points"
If you have never played points before, do not
worry.
Points is simply a case of playing a shot you will
have played many times in your normal game.
The better you play the shot the better the score you get,
and, it is up to you, no skip to blame and no sweepers to sweep you out the back
of the house, take your own ice, play your own weight and sweep your own
stone.
Some good sponsorship so please give Michael some support, you
WILL enjoy it.

Hogg on Friday 22nd at 5.15 pm (semi's at 2.30 pm)
