Border Ice Rink Fanals Day. - Tuesday 24th March 5.00 pm.

We have reached the end of our curling season and the Border League final is between Coldstream and Earlston, so we will have a new club name on the trophy this year. If you have played in the league this year and enjoyed the diacounted ice from Croall Bryson it is only fair that you come and support the final - we do rely on these sponsors and we should support this final.

The Ladies League sponsored by "Flemings" is between Fiona Turnbull and Glynnice Lauder and is played at the same time.

Starting just a bit before the two league finals is the Primary Schools finals, so there is a full programme to take up ypour attentions.

If your club is involved or you have played in any of these competitions, please come and see the final.

As mentioned in the last E-NEWS, there is an initiative to involve the clubs to do more pro-active work in getting new members and a grant is available from the RCCC for clubs to hold their own come and try nights and/or development project.

If your club can arrange an original project, then £200 per club is available to you, or £100 for ideas based on projects in the Club Development Manual.
