You are asked to note carefully which rinks you are in for all competitions as well as dates and times that you are due to play.  Notices will also be posted on our board at the BIR.  If you are unable to play please make your own arrangements for a suitable substitute player to take your place either from the reserve list or someone playing in a similar position in another rink.  Please inform your skip accordingly.

Skips are required to inform their rink prior to fixture dates to ensure that their rink is complete.  All skips should ensure that their rink has paid the correct ice fee ((£7.00 day & 9.15 pm, £8.00 @ 5.15 pm, 7.15 pm & weekend).  If a player does not turn up the skip should pay the ice fee in their absence and collect the money from the missing player.  Any player who does not turn up must pay for the ice and should re-imburse the skip as soon as possible.

Skips unable to play can call on a reserve skip or promote their third player.  If two club skips are in one rink, one must play lead position.  A skip eliminated in the first round of a competition can play in place of another skip in later rounds.

If a player is late, or fails to turn up, then the opposing rink may claim 1 shot for every 5 minutes that the player is late up to a maximum of 4 shots.

Winning skips must notify the Secretary of all results by ensuring that their score cards are filled in clearly and signed.  Any not filled in this way may not count.

Free guard zone rules will apply.
